"Cherylee Harris asked the questions of our Panel at the American Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on 4th July 2007 held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The topic was "Family Businesses - Generations of Success" and our esteemed panellists were Dr Dennis Jaffe, the recently arrived Thinker in Residence from California; Mr J Raymond Michell AM from the Michell Group of Companies; Mr Alister Haigh, CEO of Haigh's Chocolates; and Mr Paul Mabarrack, an Organisational Psychologist and also representing Mabarrack Furniture.
At this event which drew about 300 senior business executives, Cherylee handled her role with eloquence and aplomb. She is without doubt a confident and accomplished speaker, but more than that, she presents with authority and credibility. Cherylee demonstrated an ability to gauge the mood and interest of the audience, and tailored her comments and questions to suit. Her preparation and prior research was clearly evident and well used. She had just the right blend of humour and focus on the serious topic at hand. Most of all, I remember that Cherylee facilitated a very entertaining and informative session.
